The March Armed Forces Veterans Hub received a generous £1,000 donation from Caldwell Lodge, demonstrating continued support for the local veteran community.
Representing Caldwell Lodge were WM. John Roberts, ChStwd. John Best, and Bro. David Barkell, who attended the presentation and met with Jeff Walters (RAF, Retired), who runs both the Hub and the Breakfast Club.
Notably, John Roberts is himself a veteran, having served five years with the Household Cavalry (The Blues and Royals) before continuing his public service with a 25-year career in the Prison Service. His longstanding commitment to service highlights the connection between Caldwell Lodge and the veteran community.
The Hub provides vital support, camaraderie, and a welcoming space for veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces. Contributions such as this help ensure the continuation of its valuable work within the community.
