On Monday 25th September 2023 four members of the Lodge of United Services 10012 paid a visit to Cambridgeshire’s United Services Lodge 10010.

The occasion was the Installation of W.Bro. Rob Taylor into the chair of the United Services Lodge. W.Bro. Rob is the Founding Junior Warden of Cambridgeshire’s United Services Lodge and a Founder member of The Lodge or United Services 10012. W.Bro Bob Smith, W.Bro Steve Stock, W.Bro Rhys Perrin and Bro Phil Scrannage made the journey to support him at the Installation.

A healthy number of Brethren filled the Lodge Room for the Installation which was carried out by W.Bro Martin Culverhouse to a high standard. The Brethren were presented with a cracking ceremony during which the Address to the Master was carried out by W.Bro Jon Cooper, The Wardens by W.Bro Peter Brindle and the Brethren by W.Bro Bob Wordsworth. The Working Tools were presented excellently by three junior Brethren, Bros Sean Button, Paul Barker and David Martin. They were all praised by the Provincial Grand Master R.W.Bro William Dastur.

The Festive Board was very enjoyable, especially the response to the visitors toast which was in the hands of W.Bro Bob Smith, Master of the Northants and Hunts Lodge of United Services. W. Master, W.Bro Rob Taylor thanked the visitors from the Northants & Hunts Services Lodge for making the effort to join them in Newmarket.
