The current Worshipful Master and Immediate Past Master of Alma Mater Lodge pooled monies raised during their years in office and were delighted to present a cheque for £1500 to The Prospects Trust in Reach, Cambridgeshire.
The Prospects Trust are a meaningful work, skills and training provider for people with additional needs, learning disabilities or autism — their Co-workers!
They support Co-workers – people with additional needs, and say Co-workers as they work shoulder to shoulder with them “together”. Their supported real work placements for Co-workers are offered on their 18 acre organic care farm in rural Cambridgeshire, their Refill Greengrocery Cafe in the heart of Ely; The Prospects Trust Unwrapped and out and about on their Garden Team. Their Co-worker placements are open to people with additional needs. Snakehall Farm is a real farm providing real work experience producing sustainable, seasonal organic products and produce and their farm gates are open to new opportunities. As a socially inspiring enterprise they grow differently, retail differently and provide care placements differently since 1989.
