St Ovin Lodge No 7774

Ely Masonic Hall, 47 Silver Street, Ely, CB7 4FJ

St Ovin Lodge was formed in 1961 by various Freemasons including members of St Audrey Lodge to enable more men in the city of Ely and the surrounding villages to become Freemasons.

We have over 60 plus members who come from a broad spectrum of backgrounds including academia, professional services, military, engineering and business. This creates a wonderfully diverse atmosphere.
The lodge meets seven times a year on the fourth Tuesday of October and November and January to March (at 6pm) and the fourth Tuesday in September (at 5pm). We have two practices on the third Tuesday and fourth Monday per meeting.
St Ovin, being an old established lodge, has to many traditions to list here but they to make for a different and enjoyable meeting!
St Ovin Lodge is a friendly and social lodge. We have an annual black tie dinner (Ladies Night) and an annual Christmas Supper with family and friends along with other functions throughout the year. We also attend functions at the other Ely lodges throughout the year. We also help organise and attend other events jointly held by the four lodges in Ely.
We welcome enquiries from prospective members who meet the general criteria for masonic membership, and who can regularly attend our meetings in Cambridge. Prospective candidates are encouraged to participate in social events and to meet informally with members of the Lodge before committing to the formal joining process.

If you are interested in joining the Lodge, or finding out more, please contact us.
