We are an intimate lodge with 32 members, a good mix of professions; Accountants, Plumbers, Painters & Decorators, Electricians, Hospitality workers, Vehicle mechanics, Lecturers, Manufacturers and “Gentlemen of leisure”. The age of members is evenly split and ranges from early 30’s to past retirement age.

St Wendred Lodge meets 6 times a year on the second Wednesday of January, May, July, September, November and the fourth Wednesday in March. We have a very active “Lodge of Instruction” that meet’s on the first and third Wednesday of every month; this allows to meet and learn more about Freemasonry and its meanings in an informal setting, these evenings usually conclude with a drink at the bar.
St Wendred lodge gets involved with many local charities as well as supporting National Charities; this year we are raising money to support local Scout and Guide Groups, Children who have suffered a loss of a Parent, we are keen supporters of “Newmarket Open Doors” and Marie Curie Nurses.
We have a number of social events each year both formal and informal, these include a “Ladies Night”, Quiz Nights, Tours of interesting places in the local area, Cheese & Wine evenings, discussion evenings on Health issues.
